First released in 2012, this song was a bonus track for the Pet Shop Boys song "Memory of the Future", the third single from their album, Elysium. "Inside" is about bullying. The song encourages anyone who has been bullied not to cower in fear or be ashamed but to take pride in themselves instead. Although the song addresses two particular groups of people who are often bullied, the young and the old, its message is universal and can be applied to anyone who has been bullied.
